self-shipping is a type of shipping that focuses on someone shipping themselves with a fictional character. this can be in many ways; oc x canon, self insert x canon, just themselves x canon, a kin x canon, etc! it can be platonic, familial, romantic, whatever!

self-shipping has been apart of my life for years now, but it's been a major part for over a year, due to denki kaminari. i consider him my real partner and i have since may 8th, 2024. i also have many other selfships, a lot being kin x canon and the rest being a mix.

while i identify as entirely fictorose, i do also selfship for fun. i feel genuine attraction to all my f/os, but only denki, leo, wade, and jon are f/os i'd consider my real partners.
