I'm a sucker for contrasting personalities (moody, aggressive, non-violent vs laidback, free-spirited, violent) and two outsiders being in love (Karkat isn't even included in the social hiearchy and is still "the lowest", meanwhile Gamzee is one of the highest but doesn't care/acts "improper"). I ship them as moirails, but I like exploring them as matesprits or Karkat being an auspistice for Gamzee and. Everyone.

Gamzee: Unlabeled gender, he/she/they, unlabeled sexuality. I associate him with juggalos, art, goats, purple, polka dots, and the Capricorn zodiac sign. He is very fun to me and while I get why she's hated, I don't care. They're my special little guy

Karkat: Male, he/him, panquadranted. I associate him with romance, crabs, yelling, red and gray, scythes, and the Cancer zodiac sign. He's so annoying I hate him but he's also me and no one gets him like I do

Rose: Cis gal, she/her, bisexual with a fem pref. I associate her with magic, knowledge, violin, coming-of-age movies, purple, and friendship. I hate how many people make her overly serious in fics. Let her be silly!!!! She's a silly teen girl, let her have fun!

John/June: Trans gal, she/her, pansexual. I associate her with old movies, hammers, piano, conventions, the color green, and also friendship. I like to think that her dad would have supported her had she ever got to tell him

Leo: Cis guy, he/him, gay (closeted/repressed). I associate him with fire, mechanics, orange, secrecy, fear, and connection. No one gets him like I do, he should have been a repressed gay man and he IS (to me)

Nico: Cis guy, he/him, gay. I associate him with shadows, death, black, cherry chocolate KitKats, traveling, and grief. I hate when people reduce him to just "depressed gay Italian" he is actually so much more interesting

WOW I have a lot of favs for this section, my marvel OTP!!! This is probably my favorite ship for both characters, specifically for Wade! They're so special to me I adore them even though they suck

Wade: Non-Binary, any, pansexual. I associate him with swords, explosions, Golden Girls, late-night snack runs, dark red, and pop music. Has some of my favorite Marvel comics, his are always great. Also best first Marvel movie but I am iffy on the second two
